Bah! Netflix!

april 12, 2006

First of all:  I am a Netflix stockholder. I am a big time movie watcher as most of you know.  Recently, there has been a big deal made out of Netflix's throttling of customer rentals.  I never realized it until I heard about it, but I am being throttled.  I first thought it was the post office being slow, but when I send movies back along with other mail, I notice...Well, the other mail gets to the recipients before Netflix acknowledges that it has received my movies.  On month's when I don't watch that many movies, I send a movie on Monday, they receive it on Tuesday, I get another movie in my postbox on Wednesday. I watched a lot of movies last month and I am being throttled this month.  I sent two movies on Monday and today is Wednesday, they still haven't "received" the movies.  I know they have received them from previous experience, they are only holding off on notifying me because, as I theorize, they don't want to get sued. This sucks bollocks. From Netflix:  "With Netflix you can rent as many DVDs as you want from the comfort of your home and have them delivered to your door in about 1 business day!" I call bullshit.
