I’m sitting here watching the TV version of “The Thomas Crown Affair” (starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo) on NBC and saw the damndest thing! NBC apparently does not have a deal with Pepsi, or they just plain don’t like Pepsi. Rene Russo’s character goes into a breakroom and puts a few coins into a vending machine and pulls out a can of soda — Diet Pepsi in the theatrical version. The can of soda on TV is completely silver! Someone at NBC went and digitally erased the Diet Pepsi logo from the can of soda. How nasty can TV get? Wow.
