I switched to fountain pens a while back and still use them almost exclusively.. I even started using one with a reservoir that is filled from an ink bottle instead of the cross cartridges.. My hand writting is horrible and these types of pens do make me write slower and to take more care in my writting.

Hmm…I will have to try fountain pens again. I remember trying them a LOOOONG time ago and it made me write too slow and I got a little impatient That’s not a Mont Blanc fountain pen you’re using is it?

I have (2) cross pens and when in beijing I picked up these (3) really heavy pens that weigh 3-4 times what the cross pens weigh.. I really like them (98 Yuan each which is like #12USD) cheap and very nice.. I would buy a Mont Blanc but I am very bad about loosing stuff.. I already accidentally threw away the kids PS2 I bought Monday night last week. ( I was throwing out some garbage bags and did not notice that the PS2 and games and acc were in the bag).. And coming back from NJ over the holiday, I left my brand new SLR at a hotel in Virginia..

Not yet.. we were travelling to NJ and Washington DC so we are picking up a new one today or tomorrow. and the Hotel shoould be fed-ex’ing my SLR tomorrow… ( Nice Sigma SA-7 with a couple of lenses)

I am looking at the Canon EOS Rebel digital SLR 6.3 megapixel camera which looks really nice and one can’t beat the price on it ($999 in most establishments).

I really like the new Sigma SD10 with the Foveon chip.. That is why I bought the SA-7.. I have not used an SLR in over a dozen years and I really need to learn to use the camera properly first. When I feel good about it , I will pick up the Digital SLR and the lenses are all interchangeable
