Use your Software Update feature to get the latest update to Mac OS X 10.3. Looks like a lot of fixes in this release, hopefully it’ll fix the redraw bug that makes Camino’s screen break into blocks.

    Redraw bug still exists.

redraw bug: apple won’t fix it. i’ve been saying this ever since i switched to OSX 10.3. it even lokks like apple is keeping the redraw bug fully on purpose because they dont want more competition. safari is the bully on the mac browser market. so, it is soley up to the camino devs to “repair” camino (that is making camino 100 % “quartz”).

for the time being i can’t use camino because of the redraw issue (the 2 websites i rely on a daily basis are both affected). i am sorry for camino, but my link collection in firefox is growing, so switching back to camino - even if the redraw bug is fixed - becomes the more unlikely the longer the camino devs ignore the problem.

What is weird is that from what I read both the Mac OS X version of FireFox and Camino use QuickDraw for their display. But, only Camino seems to have this redraw problem. I love Camino’s interface because it is so clean and Mac OS X looking. FireFox is great also, but all the Unix looking widgets just make it look ugly. The redraw but does not seem as bad as it was before 10.3.4, but I am seeing it now as I surf to more websites. I maybe switching back to FireFox also. I don’t like Safari all that much now, it just “feels” weird and it doesn’t work with my Citi website.
