RHEL 5 Workstation

Looks like Dreamhost rolled back their mysql servers or something.  I just noticed that my post about Yahoo! Mail going with unlimited storage had disappeared!  I also notice in my feed reader that a bunch of feeds got rolled back.  This is somewhat annoying.

CentOS 5 Release Date

CentOS 5 is currently scheduled for release April 9th, 2007 at 23:59GMT. Further discussion is offtopic except in #centos-social.

CentOS5 Final Freeze

Well, CentOS5 should be released “anytime now”. Just caught this on the centos-devel mailing list:

Confirmation from Red Hat Suupport that one cannot build kernel modules using their Desktop.
I’ve confirmed that using Desktop, one can’t create kernel module. And for kernel-devel package, you atleast require RHEL5-WS entitlements.
A bit annoying.
