It seems they are delayed. However, the released Debain 4 (”Etch”) is certainly worth checking out:)

Bernaard: From the irc channel #centos, it looks like they got it done on time. What’s holding things up is that they are seeding the mirrors. Hopefully, it’ll be ready in < 24 hours from now.

Yea, I’m not sure now what’s going on. The IRC channel has been saying “<24 hours” since yesterday. I guess they misjudged how long it would take to seed all the mirrors. My only suggestion to the hard working CentOS folks is that they should start up a BitTorrent seed when they start to seed the mirrors. That way those of us who use bittorrent can start distributing without waiting for mirrors to get the files.

Check the centOS mirrors, the CD images are already uploaded, bittorent dvd too. They were uploaded yesterday..

“Appears” to be proper, although, I have NOT seen an official announcement ..
You may want to be nice to the soon to be flooded servers and only download one CD image at a time
… Better yet, if possible, use the torrents and keep them open for everyone’s benefit …
