Star Wars Rebels - Season One

The kids and I just finished watching the season finale for Star Wars Rebels. This is one awesome show, it started out fantastic – I know this because we re-watched the pilot movie right after the finale. The show has a lot of the “fun” and excitement that the original Star Wars did, most especially “Episode IV”.

It took me some time to get the names of all the characters, but they have all grown on me and I like them all. The story arc is pretty interesting. But, what makes the show great is that it strikes a good balance between hilarious hijinks and serious storytelling. It is such good writing that it has kept both the kids and me interested the in the series throughout its first season run.

We all look forward to seeing where the story and characters go in the second season. The Force is strong in this show.
