OneDrive on iOS Storage Usage

I have an Office 365 account and I like using OneDrive on my iPhone and iPad to backup photos. The problem I run into is that after a while, OneDrive will consume large swathes of space on my devices – right now I found OneDrive using 4.5GB of space on my iPhone.

To free up space, clear the cache for OneDrive:

  • Open the OneDrive app
  • Click your icon at the top left
  • Go into Settings
  • Click “Help & Feedback”
  • Click “Clear Cache” at the bottom of the next screen

After that runs, it may take a little bit for iOS to recognize the freed up space.
