It looks like there was a lot of money spent on the special effects in this episode. It is quite impressive. The story is definitely darker and more serious than TOS and Enterprise.
I'm not sure how Sarek and Burnham were able to do that mind meld.
I really liked how Burnham outsmarted the ship's computer.
I am saddened that Georgiou is dead, though, since there's news of a spinoff for Michelle Yeoh's character, I'm thinking there's some way she's coming back.
