The Discovery must protect the planet of Pahvo from the incoming Klingon Ship of the Dead. Burnham and Tyler go on a special mission. Stamets deals with the effects of being the navigator of the Spore Drive.
This was a good episode, I was fully engaged by it.
The storyline for Tyler is now in full swing and I think my original suspicions with him are true. The poor guy though is completely messed up in the head because of the Klingons.
Stamets and his driving the Spore Drive over so many micro jumps in order to help decloak the Klingon ship was a worthy sacrifice -- though, I don't know what it eventually led to at the end of the episode. I have a strange feeling, based on the meeting between Stamets and Lorca that they maybe in a Mirror Universe of some sort.
