The father of the transporter (Emory Erickson) boards the Enterprise and runs experiments -- sub-quantum teleportation which can transport objects great distances (light years). T'Pol deals with the death of her mother and Trip is trying to help.
There is a different look and feel to this episode. The cinematography and lighting is more dramatic and darker.
A floaty ghost kills an unfortunate red shirt (though he wasn't wearing a red shirt).
Stubborn-headed Archer rears his head again.
Movie Night returns.
Three hours later and Archer didn't have time to change his uniform or wash up?
Unnecessary zooms for drama. Ugh.
Panar Syndrome is gone!
Not sure what to think of this episode. It was predictable and awkward.
So, T'Pol and Trip, it's over. Finally. It was never really written well or developed, I am glad they finally put it to bed and are (hopefully) moving on from this "romantic" storyline.
