A transporter malfunction results in two Kirks, each a different part of his personality.
I have seen this episode previously when it was shown in Heroes & Icons. I remember it to be a good entertaining episode filled with classic Shatner acting, especially evil Kirk.
Is that literally a horn-dog? Heh.
Why did Kirk not send a shuttle to pick up the men on the planet?
"I'm Captain Kirk!" -Mascara Kirk
"He's dead Jim."
The scratches change sides on Kirk's face in the last scene.
