After a run in with some strange people on a planet, Sulu returns different. Sulu and another crew member were send down to the planet Beta 3 to search for clues about a missing ship, the Archon.
The Red Hour and The Festival. These were shown, but never explained. Why was there twelve hours of crazed rioting? How did this fit in with what Landrew was trying to create?

The Law Givers seemed mostly harmless outside of their sticks, which were as Spock observed empty tubes. How did those work exactly?
