The Enterprise arrives at Pollux 4 and is greeted y a give green hand that is a field of energy. The hand has taken the Enterprise hostage.
A giant head invites Kirk minus Spock to the planet.
Apollo welcomes them to the planet.
How did Spock know Apollo's name?
This episode seems like a mix of Shore Leave (TOS S01E15) and The Squire of Gothos (TOS S01E17).
Chekov has quite a few lines in this episode. He steals he show.
An interesting take on Greek gods being aliens.
Scotty needs to calm down.
Not one of my favorites. Interesting idea, but pacing was terrible and the episode dragged on and on. It did not help that Apollo kept droning on and on in the episode.
