Kirk, Spock and McCoy beam onto a planet half of a galaxy away from Earth that is exactly like Earth -- except for a large artifact, an obelisk. An asteroid is about to strike this planet. They find American Indians on the planet. Kirk falls into the obelisk and is shocked.

The Enterprise is going to work on diverting an asteroid before it strikes the planet.
Spock is the logical one, McCoy is the emotional one.
Kirk has lost his memory and has amnesia.
What kind of CPR did Kirk perform? Leg rubbing?
This episode is split in two. Kirk surviving on the planet with the American Indians and no memory. And The Enterprise off trying to divert the asteroid.
Under stress, Vulcans can go weeks without sleep.

This was a painfully bad episode. I almost gave up on it.
