HERE is an interesting article on what Red Hat Chairman Bob Young thinks about the future of Linux -- at least on Red Hat's radar. He says that he thinks Windows will continue to rule desktop machines. He also says that Red Hat is going to focus their Linux on replacing legacy servers (be it Unix or NT) and also on embedded systems. Interesting perspective. Looks like the race for Linux to take over the desktop is now just a pipe dream?
