SOCOM

august 31, 2002

Picked up SOCOM for my PS2 today at Toys 'R Us. But, for the life of me, I can't find the PS2 Network Adapter so that I can play it online. Looks like Sony maybe up to their tricks or something, releasing the PS2 Network Adapter on a limited basis so that they can create a consumer demand that is very strong. The PS2 Network Adapter, for those of you who don't know, is an adapter that attaches to the back of the PS2. It has a 10/100Mbit Ethernet connector and a built-in 56k modem. It allows for people to play games such as SOCOM online with others. I can't wait to get mine, but I hope it's not going to be like the the PS2 shortage when the PS2 was first released.
