Where's my iBook? Remember when I dropped it off at Fry's to get a repair? Where'd it go? Well, it went to Apple for repairs. I still have no iBook. This stinks. So, I think next time I buy an Apple product I will opt to pay the extra $100 for the AppleCare coverage rather than the Fry's coverage because with both the equipment goes back to Apple for repairs. The difference is simple though: The day Apple receives your machine they repair it and put it back into the mail to be shipped back. That is a potential three day turn around. Look how long it's taking to get my iBook back. If I were in town long enough I'd go and pick up a loaner machine from Fry's. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
