I picked up AdSubtract from Fry's the other day. It was on sale, $19 (down from $29), and seemed like a good bargain. It's not the pro-version that is offered on the website (which incidentally costs $29, whereas this version I have can be upgraded to pro for $9). The pro-version has cookie stuff, anti-animation, and anti-sound stuff, but I really don't need that extra stuff. Blocking of ads and pop-ups (pop-unders too!) is what I need and AdSubtract does a wonderful job at getting most all of them. It works much better than the free WebWasher and is not as complicated or convoluted. Good piece of software this AdSubtract is. Check it out.
