I listened to part of George W. Bush's state of the union speech last night when it replayed on CNN. One part that kept coming up was his insistence that his plan will lower taxes for all Americans and this will help to stimulate the economy. What I think is that, if a person is not working, then a tax cut doesn't really affect them. If people are being laid-off left and right because their jobs are being exported to other countries, then tax cuts really doesn't affect them. I can see how the tax cuts can help the rich, who don't have to worry about their jobs, but come on George, what are you going to do for the regular Americans? He says,
