State Farm Says "No" To Nukes

march 2, 2003

If your town happens to be bombed and it's a nuke that hit ya, State Farm won't cover you. After a nuclear attack I would guess that the least of people's worries would be if their car is covered under insurance. But, I guess I'm wrong since State Farm has come out with this announcement. Ana Compain-Romero, a State Farm spokeswoman, like a true sales person, came out to say, "If it did happen, it would be catastrophic. How would you recover? Where would you begin?" Um, lets see, I'd start by going to the hospital to see if I have radiation poisoning (look what it's doing to George Mason on 24!), then I'd move my butt out of the nuclear blast and fallout zone, then maybe, just maybe I'll think about my car.
