Apple has announced that it will be retiring the original iMac (the one that looked like a futuristic TV set). The new iMac will continue to sell as well as the flatscreen version of the iMac, aimed at the educational market, the eMac. In other Apple news, former Vice President Al Gore has joined the Apple board of directors. Cool!
