National Do Not Call Registry

july 5, 2003

Hey, is it me or is the whole idea of the National Do Not Call Registry just plain backwards? I mean, instead of trying to keep track of all the people who don't want to be called (now the registration process has accumulated a list of 17 million plus people) why not be smart and keep track of the people who want to be called? Would it not be easier to setup a database for those sadistic souls out there who actually want to get marketting calls -- I'm sure that would be a small database, if any! Strange how the government works I tell ya. Anyways, if you haven't already signed up to block those annoying marketting calls for five years, go to the link above and sign up. Lets see if we can actually crash that database of theirs and cause them to reverse their thinking!
