Sprint Offers TV on Cell Phones, No Thanks

november 13, 2003

Sprint is now offering TV on their cell phones. It runs at an astounding 1-2 frames a second, given that regular TV runs at 30 frames a second and movies run at 24 frames a second, this is terribly choppy if you ask me! Sprint wants its customers to pay $15 for Sprint Vision (their data plan) then $10 on top of that for premium content (like TV). That's an extra $25 on top of their already inflated prices! Yow, no thanks Sprint, I'll just watch TV for free on my tube.
