Fisher Space Pen

december 26, 2003

One of the gifts that I got from Eileen this year is the awesome Fisher Space Pen. It is an incredibly smooth writing pen that uses a pressurized ink barrel so that it can: Write in the gravity-free vacuum of space, write at any angle (including upside down), write in below zero temperatures (-40 degrees fahrenheit), write in ultrahot temperatures (+250 fahrenheit), and write on wet surfaces (including underwater). What a kick ass present, this pen supercedes my Cross Ion pen in coolness -- and sturdiness, lately my two Cross Ions have been running dry really quick. The pressurized ink barrel of the Space Pen keeps the ink from drying out and gives the ink a 100 year shelf life. Now how cool is that?
