iBook Changes

january 3, 2004

Well, I miss the Apple UI and all the widgets that make up for it. So, I am switching back to Safari for the time being on my iBook. I learned how I could import a self-signed certificate so accessing the webmail page is no longer annoying. And PithHelmet now supports Safari 1.x.x so it blocks most ads now -- though still not as efficiently as the chrome ad blocking trick does since it doesn't seem to collapse some iframes that it blcoks out. I also got a .Mac so now I can iSync my bookmarks with .Mac. We'll see how long Safari lasts, maybe a long time, maybe not. Till then Mozilla Firebird is still in my Applications folder for me to use. I just love the Apple widgets and stuff so much.
