Looks like Microsoft, in all its innovative brilliance have programmed Windows to have "services" that let others execute code on a machine without even asking permission -- or, if you believe Microsoft, it is a bug and exploit. Either way, this latest exploit is yet another annoyance to those who are forced or choose to use the ultravulnerable Windows OS. Sasser is the name of this new worm that is spreading its love across the Internet and because of Microsoft's brilliance: You don't even need to double-click anything in order for your computer to be infected. Because of a Microsoft backdoor, this worm can infect you no matter what. "Unlike many recent worms, this virus does not spread via email.
