iTunes 4.6 Disables Playing of hymn Unlocked Music

june 11, 2004

Well, I guess one of the small "improvements" that Apple put into iTunes 4.6 is the disability to play music that was purchased from iTunes Music Store then unprotected using hymn. That majorly sucks. Thank goodness I backed up my originals before unprotecting them, I knew that Apple would do this -- they have to do this in order to keep the RIAA at bay and to keep selling music. Maybe I will actually have to resort back to burning-to-CD then re-ripping to MP3. I own the music, I should be able to do whatever I want with it.
