George W. Bush Takes Politics Down A Few More Notches

june 27, 2004

Just when I thought politicians could not get any worse...George W. Bush shows me that he can make his campaign the worse and most disgusting of all. If you visit georgewbush.com and watch the current Internet ad that the Bush campaign has posted, titled "The Faces of John Kerry's Democratic Party", you too will be wondering what monkey is running George W. Bush's campaign -- and if George W. Bush really believes in what they are promoting him as, since he is the one who gives final approvals to ads. The ad features Adolf Hitler's images alongside those of Al Gore, Howard Dean, and John Kerry. Now that is just a sick ad. How low can George W. Bush go? Apparently low enough to start enlisting the images of Adolf Hitler to help in his campaign. That is just sick and disgusting. The ad ends with the words, "This is not a time for pessimism and rage..." over a picture of John Kerry's face. Strangely, the Bush campaign has been the most negative campaign. "Three-quarters of the ads aired by Bush's campaign have been attacks on Kerry. Bush so far has aired 49,050 negative ads in the top 100 markets, or 75 percent of his advertising. Kerry has run 13,336 negative ads -- or 27 percent of his total. The figures were compiled by The Washington Post using data from the Campaign Media Analysis Group of the top 100 U.S. markets. Both campaigns said the figures are accurate." Is this really the guy you want "leading" this country of another four years?
