I think that television manufacturers should create more monitors (televisions without TV tuners) than actual televisions (monitors with tuners). Too many people nowadays do not use the built-in tuner for over-the-air broadcasts. Raise your hands if you have digital cable or satellite. I for one have found that the big TV that we have in the house does not use the tuner at all. If taking out the tuner can save the consumer a few hundred dollars, then by all means make a monitor instead of a TV for me!
