Today while shopping at Santana Row, Eileen got me an Orka Oven Mitt! How cool is this thing? It is non-porous (so I can dip my hand in boiling hot water). It resists heat up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (some places advertise 500 degrees, but the tag on the mitt says 600). It's silicone and can be used on either hand. And it is tangerine colored. Very cool kitchen tool for Chef Mookie! Thanks honey!
