My friend Nabeel invited me to play chess online with him at Gameknot. Gameknot is pretty cool since the chess game does not have to be played in real-time. It is all done as turn-based (with a time limit per turn, like three days). Email is sent to notify me that it is my turn and I can have multiple games going at once. The free membership has banner ads and pop-ups (though with Camino and the css form, most are blocked), one can help out the site with a membership fee and that gets rid of the advertisements and also gets you some cool premium features, I'll have to test out the site a bit more before being convinced to drop some money on it. So far though, it seems pretty good.
