With the runaway success of the iPod and iTunes Music Store, it would be the first assumption that Apple will be dropping their computer hardware line. They have even split the iPod/iTunes group off, isn't that a sign? Not really. The Wall Stree Journal published a great article showing how the popularity of the iPod is actually helping to bring people over ot the Macintosh platform. Between viruses, spyware, and crashes, people are leaving the Windows platform for the Macintosh platform -- and all it took was a shiny new music player to get them to take a look at the Macintosh platform.
