Check out Smultron, a very cool text editor for Mac OS X (Panther or up). It looks as functional as my current favourite SubEthaEdit (except for the multiple users being able to edit a document at anytime). I will give Smultron a good try since it is an Open Source project instead of a closed project (even though I purchased a commercial license for SubEthaEdit.
