I was looking through my logs and saw an interesting client accessing my Atom feed. It was NewsFire. I checked it out and it is a pretty awesome RSS/Atom reader -- even better looking and feeling than Ranchero's NetNewsWire. I am going to try it out and see how much I like it. The author David Watanabe is very upfront about the program being free during its development and that it will be shareware after development is developed. That is a lot more than some authors tell about their products in development.
