The OTA (Over-The-Air) update for my Sidekick II just arrived. It was the OS update and now I am waiting for the Radio OTA to arrive. All my applications just redownloaded from the server also -- I was horrified to see after the update that my Terminal app disappeared, but now it is back. Phew. The email from T-Mobile:
Sidekick II user: Thank you for installing the Release 2.0.3 over-the-air update! This update contains device performance enhancements. Within 48 hours of accepting the R2.0.3 update, you may receive a second update, which contains radio firmware. If you do receive this update, please accept it as soon as you can. Note that items you previously downloaded from the Download Fun catalog will come down to your device automatically. Reinstall if prompted; you will not be charged for items you have already purchased. Enjoy your Sidekick II!
