Man, it is a pain in the ass to get the Hotkeys working on a VAIO without loading up their original image. Anyways, if you are upgrading a VAIO notebook and need the Hotkeys to work (since that is the only way to adjust volume and screen brightness) then you'll have to find these three things: Sony Notebook Setup Tool, Hotkeys Utility, and Sony Shared libaries. Install those three (and the first will be notebook dependent) and you'll be just fine.
