For us early adopters of Flickr, we get a gift from Flickr for supporting them through their beta. Flickr is doubling our subscription length (adding a year) and doubling our transfers per month (from 1GB to 2GB). That is only because of the new pricing for Flickr, which is half as much as beta prices but gives twice as much transfer. But, the cool thing is that Flickr has given all beta users two Flickr Pro accounts to give to our friends. Now that is kind of cool for our friends and for Flickr since it'll help them grow. This is a good way to treat customers, other dot-coms should learn from Flickr.
