Symbian Rules the Mobile World

july 23, 2005

Check out this poll from Linux Devices. It shows that Symbian trounces everyone with 76% of the smartphones shipped in Q1 of 2005. Linux was at almost 14%. PalmOS and Windows Mobile have about 4.5%. RIM comes in with a measly 1%. It is interesting to see that Japan is a huge adopter of Linux smartphones.
