Hmm, I was up till 2am last night screwing around with the Yahoo! Search API. I finally got a search page up with web, local, news and images (images is quite different from the normal image search, try it out). What is cool about all of this is that I have my own personal search page with all the goodness of Yahoo! Search and none of the ads or other screen decorations. Kind of neat, if you ask me. Not only that, but following these simple instructions, one is able to create a custom search for their Firefox search box. Next up, a ultrasearch (like a9).
