Here's a good complaint that I have been thinking about posting, but I never did posted.  Firefox is a resource hungry beast.  Now that I have been using FF 1.5 for a while, I have noticed that it really takes up a lot of memory -- right now with four tabs open, it has a iron grip on 380MB of RAM on my Powerbook; at work, I usually have a lot more tabs open and sometimes FF eats up so much RAM I have to quit and restart it (since it causes my system to become unstable).  I can understand that Firefox would need resources, but this is quite a lot for it to be taking up.  Maybe it's time for me to experiment with other Mac OS X browsers again -- at work, I don't think I have much choice but to use Firefox (I am not going to start using IE).
