There are times when technology just becomes...silly!
Check out the above example. I was strolling through Fry's today browsing when I came across this niffy piece of "technology". It is a backup battery for cordless phones! Whoa!
Cordless phone
- Power goes out, no way to use phone since cordless base needs power.
- In order to use cordless phone during power outage use above technology.
- Above technology: $30 plus tax.
Corded phone
- Power goes out, still get to use phone since corded phone draws power form the phoneline.
- In order to use corded phone during power outage, well just use the damn thing.
- Cheap corded phone: $5 plus tax at Home Depot.
Silly, just plain silly.
