The WB has the right idea. They have signed on with BitTorrent.com to start distributing their movies and TV shows via BitTorrent. Movies will go for about the same as DVDs and come with the right to burn to disc to watch on a PC. TV shows will sell for a dollar a show (not bad). Here's the line up for the summer launch: "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," "Tim Burton's s Corpse Bride," "Dukes of Hazzard," "North Country," and "Rumor Has It," "The Matrix," "Dog Day Afternoon," "Natural Born Killers," and National Lampoon's "Vegas Vacation." TV programming will include shows such as "Babylon 5" and "Dukes of Hazzard." The TV selection is, uh, a bit sparse and old. But, I am sure they are just testing the waters. If this takes off, I am sure they'll start to release better material. I think this is a step in the right direction for the studios. I am happy that Warner Brothers has gotten the right idea and is following through. Bravo WB!
