This is why I am happy that I don't have to manage the server and all that relates to it: Recently, ultramookie.com has been a bit slow -- even I felt it. Turns out, the switch for the mysql servers at Dreamhost was broken. They have fixed it and now the site is noticeably faster. Thanks Dreamhost guys for fixing this, though I hope you guys catch this a bit quicker next time! I won't lie, there have been some problems recently with Dreamhost (email outages, mysql problems, and general slowness). It's nothing extremely bad, but still it is annoying. I am glad I am not having to deal with this kind of headache anymore.
