After I installed the D-Link DWL-G630 using the madwifi drivers, I found that bridge mode in VMware didn't work. Anways, here's how I got it work... Configure the ath0 interface in NAT mode (enter a subnet that is unused on the internal network). Then when setting up a virtual machine, pick any mode for the networking. When the virtual machine has been created go back and edit the virtual machine. Change the networking to custom and select the specific virtual network associated with ath0.
