There are some rumors that JJ Abrams has cast Matt Damon to play a young James T. Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek XI. At first, I was upset about this news. Damon is no James T. Kirk -- there can only be one James T. Kirk, and that one is William Shatner. That being said, I guess Damon would make an OK young Kirk. Now, that being said, I realized: This is an odd numbered Star Trek movie, it's going to be a bad one. Maybe I'll wait for DVD.
