november 4, 2006It has been a really busy two days and I haven't had a chance to write much. Lets just say that when things start happening, they happen pretty quick and close together...
- Kitchen faucet broken. Bad. Water all over the place. Two hours of messing around to make a universal faucet tube work with the previous weird one. Trying to squeeze a broad shoulder 6'3" Chinese guy under the kitchen sink to do plumbing work will result in said Chinese guy cursing "f*(K!" and "s41t!" and other assorted words. Now our sink faucet is affectionately nicknamed "Frankenfaucet".
- First of three birthing classes. It was very informative. It was three hours long. There are two more three hour sessions to go. There are also three other different classes to come.
- New music. I ordered two CDs from Amazon a week ago and this time the SuperSaver shipping took forever, it was still free shipping. I got Cut Chemist's "The Audience is Listening" and Michael Giacchino's "LOST: Season 2". Cut Chemist provides the song for the current iPod nano commercials. The CD is pretty mixed, there are some really good songs and then there is the filler. The CD clocks in at a short 45 minutes. The LOST CD is another story. Awesome CD, a bit better than the first and there is a track on there, "Gathering" which is strikingly beautiful.
- Disappointed baby furniture shopping. We went to Babies R Us to be disappointed that a big box store selling furniture does not offer delivery.
- New purchase. Eileen and I went somewhere (company starts with an "L") last night a bought a really big item. We will not get it until next Saturday, but it is REALLY nice. More on this (with pictures) next Saturday.
It does not seem like much, but the last two days were quite busy.
