This is a good story...I'll let Jeremy (the guy who this happened to) explain...
This morning, upon finding myself in a lane which was ending, I attempted to speed up so I could merge right. The vehicle behind me then proceeded to speed up in an apparent attempt to pin me out. Speeding up even more not being successful, I then decide to try slowing down. Unfortunately, this was met with the fellow driver also slowing down. The only thing which proved effective in me being able to merge right was to slam on my brakes. Trying to remain calm (not flashing my lights, not honking my horn, not even screaming obscene words at my windshield as if it had something to do with it), I then merged right. I am then greeted with the driver (who is now in front of me) flipping me off and apparently laughing at me. Great to know those at Google have a respect for their fellow drivers on the road. Thankfully, due to having my camera handy in the seat next to me, I can immortalize the event on Flickr.
I drive around with a Yahoo! license plate frame (as do other Yahoos) and I try my best to be a good citizen on the road. The above is a good reason why.
