Corolla Complex

april 11, 2007

I swear, Corolla drivers have a complex. It is the 21st century version of the Napolean Complex. Somehow they feel inadequate driving a 126hp lawnmower, so they have to act like fucktards (thanks JR for the new word) all over the road. The Corolla S drivers are the worst of the bunch -- dude, the "S" might stand for "Sports", but you still have that same 126hp lawnmower engine under the hood; and, no that spoiler does not add any horsepower! I am dubbing this complex as the Corolla Complex: Corolla Complex - In the fields of psychology and psychoanalysis, Corolla Complex colloquial term used to describe a type of inferiority complex (or Corolla Syndrome) is a suffered by people who drive cars which are short on horsepower. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives. This can sometimes go as far as to lead to acts of violence or will to dominate those that drive vehicles with larger engines than the car with lesser horsepower.
