Sleep...Wake...Sleep...Wake...

april 18, 2007

I don't know if it was an isolated incident when my Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 notebook didn't completely wake from suspend-to-RAM mode. But, now things are working just spiffy with the notebook and RHEL5. It goes to sleep when I close the lid. It wakes up when I open the lid and push the power button -- I need to find out if there is a way to have it power on when I open the lid, without having to push the power button. My RHEL5 PC notebook is now acting a lot like my Powerbook G4, and that is a good thing. Off topic, I discovered the archives for all of Red Hat's previous Red Hat Linux OSes.  I just downloaded Shrike (RHL9).  That's just a bit of geek fun.
